Duravit's D.1 taps range was designed in collaboration with Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez and includes three variants: the D.1, the D.1e and D.1z.

The D.1e electronic version features state-of-the-art technology and a flat operating button with an integrated LED coloured ring, which is easy and intuitive to operate. A light tap starts or stops the flow of water and a turn to the left or right alters the temperature from cold to warm. With a continuous colour display from blue to red, the LED ring also provides visual feedback. Up to three temperature values can be individually stored and activated via a Quick Access feature.

An electronic thermostat integrated into the control unit reacts sensitively to any change to the cold and warm water flow, automatically adjusting and keeping the temperature constant. The scald protection is pre-set at 38 degrees.

The D.1 variant features a single-lever handle that mirrors the form of the flat outlet, creating a harmonious silhouette, while the D.1z has a knurled rotating handle for optimum positioning in wash bowls and consoles.

All the taps in the D.1 range have clear contours and finely galvanised surfaces in Chrome or Black Matt. D.1 washbasin mixers are available in M and XL heights and are designed to co-ordinate with designer bathroom ranges including Viu/XViu, DuraSquare/XSquare, ME by Starck and the new Starck T accessories. A designer siphon, angle valves and pressure hoses are also available in Black Matt for a co-ordinated look.
