Resilient flooring specialist Gerflor has launched a new carpet tile collection inspired by the natural landscapes of the moon.

Lunar, from the firm's Gradus Carpets portfolio, has a distinctive tufted loop pile and is designed to be laid randomly.

The designs reimagine the mineral and stone found on the moon and come in eight shades, including the ethereal greys of Janssen, Moretus and Picard and the deep blacks of Jura and Moro.

For a bespoke and customised look, the carpet tiles can be mixed and matched with Gerflor's Creation luxury vinyl tile ranges.

Lunar is available in a 500x500mm format, has 100 per cent solution dyed, nylon, tufted, loop pile surface yarn and provides outstanding levels of performance and comfort. It comes with a 12-year wear warranty and a 10-year anti-static warranty as standard.

Lunar can be specified in commercial offices, for a range of education applications and many other contract environments. Lunar carpet tiles are stocked and readily available in the UK.

Gradus Carpets is a brand of the Gerflor Group, which manufactures premium quality carpet tiles and planks, broadloom and impervious backed carpets.

Gerflor can provide architects with technical advice and free site surveys for new-build and refurbishment projects.
