This year's longlist showcases 21 diverse schemes that nurture people and communities – and the world they live in
Here it is – the longlist for the 2021 MacEwen Award. All the entries have been whittled down to the following list of 21 but all the original submissions were worthy in their own right. Each displays architectural virtuosity, networking nous and, in a year where even the government’s been having to splash the cash, budgetary responsibility. The shortlist of 12 will be announced from 13 January 2021, with commended entries and the winner announced on 1 and 2 February 2021. Well done to all of this year’s longlisted entrants; the work that you do, be it large or small scale, and – particularly this year – is valued.
